Default All I did is go for a soda.

After a 10 hr day starting at 3:45am. I got home took a nap and was going to run down to the gas station for a soda before I started some work in the garage. At the gas station I shut the door with the window down and the rear driver side clip came off track. Then on my 5 block trip back to the house I am pulled over for modified exhaust and WI plates. (Dusten I swear I'll change the registration, but if Officer Buzzcut calls, I'm a respectable member of society and I voted yes on every referendum that increased funding for law enforcement. ) I didn’t have any paperwork for the car with me. After a 10 minute interrogation the office let me off.
I hate Monday. Now I really need to find a "good" smog shop in the area.
And I'm happy that on my last order with Pelican I had them throw in 2 extra clips. I'm really starting to love hate this car.

Its a Bosal but not that loud. I was shifting early and was 5mph under the limit. He just said I need to get it registered in CA and fix the exhaust. As for the meet I have to work from 11am - pm that Saturday. Let me know what’s going on I could stop by after I leave work.
The night finished much better checked out a local GTG in West Covina good turn out nice people and NO COPS

Did he site you for a fix it ticket or no fix it? Do you have to see the state ref? If you dont think its that loud, just leave it on and it should pass the desibles.

I in the other hand, i got pulled over and got the modified emmision system for the supercharger. I have to get my car smoged now. It'll pass smog but I have a CEL light for the DISA and Speed sensor

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Thanks for the offer Jess. I'm getting pretty quick at fixing them. I've replaced 3 sets of clips and the entire passenger side assembly. If I ever make it to a tech meet I'll be the window guy.

Cool, well if the window keeps coming off track when you slam the door with the window down, it's not the clips, it's the forward or aft vertical guide that needs to be straightened

Oh yeah, you still have my plates. Oh well. The Bosal Exhaust is 50 state legal, go through the paper work I gave you and there should be a certificate in there stating it's legal. The supercharger is also 50 state legal and smog approved, whatever that does for you. The cat has a lot of miles on it, so I don't know how effective it is.

That's odd, I thought NickG's software wrote out the check for DISA?
