Thanks for any info on the DISA Valve wiring schematics. Please post any diagrams you may have. What I am needing is what the pin outs are for the DME, and which pin is in fact necessary for the DISA Valve retrieving signal wire. You see, my DISA valve is missing this signal retrieving wire and only has a ground wire. My car used to be supercharged, and that has been removed, and so did that necessary retrieving wire went along with it. The car has never seen it's OEM optimal state of being once the DASC was removed. So I have to fix this and I need all the help I can get! Thanks everyone in advance. Perhaps that signal retrieving wire goes to something else before the DME. Who knows, but perhaps there is a novice that can assist myself and possibly others in the future! Thank you | | | 08-06-2015, 09:09 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Lbcnu24 Thanks for any info on the DISA Valve wiring schematics. Thank you | Got your visitor message: You can get all the wiring schematics from DME to anywhere on the car from the Bentley manual. If you don't have the manual you can download a PDF of the manual if you do a Google search. PDF file should be right under 100mb. If you don't have a Bentley and can't find the download let me know and I will post the wiring and pinout for you. If you want me to spoon feed the information to you I will need year, model and DME number like a 667 would be a 1996 and a 668 would be 1997-forward. Let me know if you need any further help? Edit: sent download link over PM. All E36 owners should have this manual. The car ran great like this so you might want to try it out and see if you like it. Will get back to you. And thanks for the link info! I dont know if my DISA valve is wide open. I thought initially that by just replacing it altogether, the CEL would go away. So its new, just that no second wire to it :/. How do you make it wide open?! | | | 08-06-2015, 11:22 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Lbcnu24 Its a 97' M44, i dont have the DME numbers in front of me just yet. Opening around 3,500rpm allowing all 8 intake runners to supply air to the intake valves. I idea behind this is it supplies the motor with two manifolds one set of runners then both sets of runners in higher RPM. I just take a old DISA valve and break off the rod and flap and any loose metal then plug the small holes on the outside with JB weld and install it in the manifold, car ran great like that. John S You should have two wires running to the DISA red/white(Branch to 12volt for most sensors on that page) & brown/blue(Pin 58 DME activate DISA) Last edited by xxxJohnBoyxxx; 08-06-2015 at 11:27 PM. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
