It's a 97, 5-speed, has the computer, remote lock and cruise, and I think it has an LSD. It also has those plastic rocker moldings like an M3. VIN # WBACG7324VAS99473. Thanks. __________________ Pierre 96 318ti (S52), 97 318ti, 95 318ti, 69 2002 (M20), 74 2002tii, 76 530i (3.3), 79 323i, 81 528i, 90 325i, 91 318is, 97 Z3, 2002 330i, 2002 R1150RT. Release the parking brake. Put the car in gear (or in park) try to spin one wheel. If it does spin, and the other side spins in the reverse direction, then you have an open diff. If it's very hard to spin or won't spin at all, put the transmission in neutral and spin a wheel again. If you can and both wheels rotate in the SAME direction, then you have an LSD. __________________ Pierre 96 318ti (S52), 97 318ti, 95 318ti, 69 2002 (M20), 74 2002tii, 76 530i (3.3), 79 323i, 81 528i, 90 325i, 91 318is, 97 Z3, 2002 330i, 2002 R1150RT. Looks like 3 years now! Round of applause for you sir, it seems you deserve some paypal action for 3 years of detailed VIN Decoding. I'd love to know more about my 328ti and a further decode of the VIN.
