Default loud noise when I press gas pedal

It started all of a sudden when i was driving back from capecod. It is the same kinda regular noise we hear when we press the gas to reach higher rpm before shifting the gears. It is very very loud and is consistent on all gears. More I press the gas, more the noise. I had to drive back slower (40mph) to minimize the noise to some extent.

Any help or insight would be appreicated.

Thanks

So the exhaust is really loud? My guess is either a hold rusted through somewhere or something physically broke.

That loud noise is called the engine. It's loud when you turn on the car. And it's especially loud when you step on the gas pedal. Lol just kidding :P

It sounds like your catty rusted a hole. Happens every couple of years. Take it to a shop so they can patch it up for you.
