Default Hi - new member here

Just discovered this forum. I own a 1995 318ti Club Sport (black), with 115K miles. No modifications. I bought the car in 1996 with 8k miles. Still love to drive it. Bringing it for service this week because it suddenly won't hold a fast idle on cold startup.

same problem here.

would bet its an airleak or possibly idle control valve

those rubber boots can hide cracks really well with the pleats so it could be as simple as a close inspection and a new one. definitely do that before you go to mess with the idle control valve. looks like it's a bitch to get out
