Hey I'm about to order some parts but wanted to ask everyone on here first, maybe you guys will know. I have a 96 with the square black side markers, is there a difference in the mounting for these and the 97 and up style? on my fenders I have a rectangle and a square next to each other. I cant tell by the pic, but it looks like they will work. I hate not having a newer TI to compare to....hmmm...maybe I need to buy another one. | | | 02-12-2007, 10:07 PM | #2 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by newagecustoms Hey I'm about to order some parts but wanted to ask everyone on here first, maybe you guys will know. The 97+ models slide and snap into place, while the -96 models are held on with a screw. I don't think the cutouts in the fenders are the same and you might have to dremel it out. I'd stick with the older style, they look cooler and they make them in clear also. Check ebay, I've seen a few sets for under $5. | | | 02-13-2007, 02:06 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | the cutouts for the earlier sidemarkers are LARGER than those for the later models. Trust me, I know | | | 02-13-2007, 05:59 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Posts: 110 | Thanks guys, I'll just stick with the old style then. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
