The Rieger w/ Roof spoiler, similar to this setup (the spoilers not authentic Rieger but my guess would be very similar) .... | | | 03-23-2006, 10:33 PM | #34 | Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Kelowna, BC Posts: 60 | Or the Esquiss spoiler. Still thinking on whether or not I should do it with a roof spoiler or not. Besides, you can't change the badge. I have the Motorsport badges, not the ///M. I love the AC lip, just because it's small, but still stands out. Wings West has something similar to the Schnitzer wing. A wing is a secondary level above the top deck of the trunk that's designed either for looks or to provide downforce. For all practical purposes, this slows your car down (negligible, about one mph on the top end). A spoiler is a lip at the trailing edge of your car designed to create a smoother air flow behind your car. Usually, the flat back of cars create a negative pressure zone that "sucks" the car backwards because of the turbulence. For all practical purposes, a spoiler will allow your car to achieve higher speeds (again, negligible). Some spoilers can also produce a light amount of downforce. Both technologies are meant to give you greater control at high speeds, partially why the LTW version has both a spoiler and a wing. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 03-26-2006, 12:29 AM | #40 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | Hey Poindexter..... I think they want it for the asthetic value, not to learn physics.
