Default sport package stock exhaust?

This may sound stupid, but I have a 96 ti with the m package. Did the exhausr come stock with a chrome tip? I saw a bone stock ri yesterday (the 2nd other than mine that I've seen in fresno), and it had a small ugly little exhaust. With the m package, did a nicer exhaust upgrade come with it? Or was this possibly added on by the previous owner? It could be the m3 exhaust?

I think thathey should all be the same.
When my brother had the ti, he had an ugly tip and then changed it to the chrome tipped one.
I have a 97 ti with the M package.

Does your TI with the m package have a chrome tip? And was your brothers a stock TI?

All ti' had the same exhaust. The chrome tip you speak of was an BMW accessory you added yourself. It's less than $20 and an easy DIY.
