Default Faint TPMS

Hi all

I've got a 2003 318ti auto but I've noticed that the TPMS on constantly but really faint.

There's no beeping as though it's an alert and can't seem to get it to turn off by holding the button down as described in the manual...

Any ideas?

Also would it be an MOT failure if I can't get it off?

Thanks as always!

Karl

Can't speak to UK rules for MOT.
But did you verify tires were properly inflated? If light the won't reset and the tires are inflated, it could be one of the TPM sensors is bad.
You say that the light is dim. That sounds like a different problem common in e36 models with one or a few bulbs behind the dashboard being out.
