Car was well maintained (up until the first rainstorm in October) and have all of the oil change service receipts. Engine is still in the car and can be started. I checked with Autobahn Parts and they said the head alone on eBay was worth $500+ but if someone would rather have the whole running engine, it is less to dismantle. Also have drivers door, complete gray cloth interior in great condition including door panels, sunroof cassette & panel a bunch of parts that ti's can't use but someone may need. Prefer local pick up. The car is in Lemon Grove near San Diego. PM me for more information. | | | 03-09-2008, 09:19 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: California Posts: 1 | how much are you looking for the engne? If you were going to come and help get it out we could work out a better deal. Otherwise I might just strip the head, fuel rails and accessories from it and send the short block to the crusher with the shell. Where are you located? | | | 03-10-2008, 08:17 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: OKC, Oklahoma Posts: 387 | I need the OBC clock!! let me know ! | | | 03-13-2008, 07:03 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Denver Posts: 27 | how much would you ship it to denver for man? | | | 03-13-2008, 02:25 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Quote: Originally Posted by THEVIC how much would you ship it to denver for man? | Are you thinking of fixing the Ti instead of selling it? BUMP... | | | 03-13-2008, 05:09 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: San Diego Posts: 179 | The OBC clock is going in the 1998 323is "replacement" car. I just had a shipping quote to get an M42 here from Nebraska and it was $275 for shipping plus some extra crating so it it would probably take about $1150-$1200 to get it there. Finding a local unit is a better deal unless you know someone that can bring it out for you... Fix it? It's too far gone for that and it is a 318is. I'm sort of still looking for a Ti for a track car project though... Thanks for asking guys!
