I would probably want to get a super clean e30 318is, 325ix or 325is. Although I will probably just get such a car in addition to the ti. If I did get rid of the ti and buy a new primary driver -- I might also look into a new or used 330i or possibly a used Lexus IS300 or the new IS350. | | | 08-14-2006, 04:08 PM | #33 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | I am already looking at 1999 E36 M3s, probably get one in the next year. An 8 series wouldn't be bad either...but only in black. __________________ Silver 98 318ti Standard trans, Sport Package: 16" Stock Wheels, Foglamps, Sunroof, Heated Leather Seats, Bilstein performance shocks, OEM Sach's clutch kit, Dunlop SP Sport A2 225/50/16 tires, Alpine CDA 7894, Dual Rockford Fosgate 12" subs, Rockford Fosgate Amp, Leather Armrest, Replaced M44 engine with only 40k on it! http://www.geocities.com/evalha/bmwsmaller.JPG | | | 08-14-2006, 05:49 PM | #34 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | noone said e30 M3. | | | 08-14-2006, 06:28 PM | #35 | Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Toledo, OH Posts: 60 | Quote: Originally Posted by Panzer_M noone said e30 M3. | I'm not worthy! | | | 08-14-2006, 06:38 PM | #36 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Oakland, baby! Posts: 102 | The french cars of the 80s are a far cry from the current cars they produce... I'd love to have a Clio V6 hot hatch for example, little beastie that it is! Even the Peugeot 207 would do well... Too bad the whole french auto industry has such a bad rep here in the US. It'd be nice to see some variety on the road Quote: Originally Posted by SDKmann Why would you want french crap? Their quality worse then americans. How many french cars do you see on the road today? The fact they are over-produced and under-engineered on the non-Ms IMO. But they are better than the LUX-O-Boxes that the e46 tend to be. | | | 08-15-2006, 09:41 PM | #41 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 208 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 I think even a 118d M-Sport would be awesome. The SMART is also pretty cool and probably my 2nd choice. I'd also consider any of the following: Audi A3, Audi S4, Audi TT, E46 M3, Porsche Boxster, New VW Scirocco, Mini Cooper S, or a Mercedes C230 Coupe. | | | 08-15-2006, 11:47 PM | #42 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: bris Posts: 287 | i will also be in the market for a 1 series in a year - 2. im aiming at a 130, but would deffinately get a 120 or 118. That ones perfect because it has tons of potential, great looks, and if its a quattro its also pretty practical. Wouldnt mind a Boxter but the only time I would drive it would be on a sunny and dry day, so I would have to get a second car to go with that. And if they sell the SMART roadster or some variation of it with a manual tranny I will be all over it. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 08-16-2006, 12:57 AM | #44 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Pennsylvania Posts: 218 | The SMART car is available in Canada... eh? | | | 08-16-2006, 08:46 PM | #45 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Yeah I saw a fortwo from ontario a couple weeks ago when I was in wisconsin. I dont care for the fortwo or forfour but that roadsters hot. Kleemans version has pretty good performance too. I also read that smart is considering making it in a manual. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
