Default Will 18x8; 35mm offset fit?

Ok so im considering down sizing my rims. But the ones im looking at have a different offset and im conserned they might rub in the front. I currently am running:
Front-19x8 with 40mm offset
Back- 19x9.5 with 45mm offset.
I have no problems running this size of rims except for maybe needing a hub centric ring. (No rubbing at all)

So if i do 18x8 with 35mm offset all the way around will they work?
Im pretty sure the back will work because i will be gaining clearance all the way around but with the front im staying with the same width but moving the wheel out 5mm.

If it does fit what about if i lower the car an inch. Any rubbing then?

yep

35 is pretty much borderline though..

check the wheelbolt pattern (120mmx5) and hub diameter (72.6mm Ø)

yea thats what i was thinkin. yea the bolt pattern and center bore are good but what i dont get is that my current rims are a 72 mm bore and i still get some steering wheel wobble between 45-60mph.

Any one else want to confirm or deny the fitment of the 18x8 35mm offset?
