I always run Hawk HP+ or Hawk Blue9012 on my other track cars. Last year I've ran those OEM, but I really need something better. When I look on Hawk brakes site they only list brake pads for the rear ??!! Is someone know the part number for front brakes. Zion has a chart if I remember right. Check out this link: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=34116761244 So you could see if there is a Hawk number for one of those models and they will work fine. | | | 01-06-2010, 04:49 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Montreal Posts: 25 | wolferj: These are HPS... not enough for what I expect of track pads, but thank it help me finding the HP+ part number since only the middle letter change. pdxmotorhead: I will see if I can find this chart dave45056: The part numbers are different but thank you | | | 01-08-2010, 03:52 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Any of the HB136 hawk pads will fit the front. That is the pad shape/size that is standard on the E36. The HB136 will be part of the part# regardless of the pad compound. I would think about something other than that particular hawk pad. I never liked them, and they don't work very well on the street at all as they are very abrasive and make a lot of noise. There are carbotech or PFC street/track pads that work better than the HPS. The best thing to do is swap your pads and run something like the HT10 or DTC60. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html..._ID=HB136F.690 I buy my hawk pads from raceshopper.com, Just give them a call, and they will make sure you get the right pads. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
