Please use them. __________________ 318Ti Sport (Gone, but thanks for your years of service) | M3 E30 | 190E-16V | M Coupe E36/8 | | | 04-16-2007, 04:49 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Downtown Historic Fredericksburg, VA Posts: 339 | it would be best to put a dasc on it. there are engines which will swap into the TI.. i am not sure what they all are.. know of a couple __________________ now when i hit that switch, I'M BOUNCIN. | | | 04-16-2007, 06:39 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Any E36 engine will fit. I have a torch and a mig welder, pay me enough and anything will fit Here in PDX we have Pacific who does engine swaps They quoted me a starting price of abouit 3500 (325 or 328 motor) and as much as 10K (740 V8) Rule of thumb, if youve done a few,, an engine swap isn't bad especially BMW into BMW, any thing else and you better be prepared for it to take as long as it takes.... Lots of research needs to happen first. Everything went together fine... Not quite a rocket like an M3, but close enough. __________________ SOLD!!! 1999 332ti //M Sport Titanium Silver M3 S52 3.2 I-6 Engine, M3 Clutch w/ ti Getrag Trans, Z3 3.15 LSD medium case diff and half shafts, OEM Hatch Spoiler, Eurosport HP Underdrive Pulleys, FDM, 17" DS1 rims, M3 Front Struts & Springs, M3 Instrument Cluster, 3-spoke //M steering wheel with tri-color stitching, SSK, CCFL Angels in Depo projectors with 5k HIDs | | | 04-16-2007, 09:13 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Texas Posts: 51 | awsome thx for info guys, i got so many questions that i wanna know lol, right now im still debating on whether i should major in mechanics or engineering, but thats besides the point =) someone said somethin about an i6, thats an inline-6 correct? whts the difference between a v6 and i6? try and be blunt with me, im still learnin the basics on cars, just turned 16 and finally baught my own bmw. and does anyone know the price of a turbo on a 96 318ti 4-banger and how much an i6 would cost to put in? | | | 04-16-2007, 09:14 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
