From looking at it (by eye) it looks fine, but im going to bmw to have it aligned and make sure nothing else is messed up. Was a pretty easy job though.

yeah, theyre toed in and everything...i was told by the dealership that i didnt need a whole subframe and that the halfshaft and trailing arm was the only thing that needed to be replaced. Ill most likely go back and have an alignment soon and have them check it out for me too.

I just did a trailing arm, it did not help

Going to try again...sometime soon....whole subframe/new sub bushes....

anything else that could cause a bad toe out condition, besides a bent TA arm or a bent subframe.....
please-anyone- chime in....thanks.

Not trying to be stupid or anything, but, could you have replaced your TA with another bent TA, or was it a new trailing arm? BMW dealership said that after i replaced the halfshaft and trailing arm, they'll have to check and see if the axle carrier is bent as well...could this be a problem with yours? I bit the bullet and spent the 120$ to have them check it all out on their computers to check it against their specs, maybe this could be an option for you as well.

? no idea...bought it toed out. I tried a z3 arm-newer but still used. It is still toed out, so I'm thinking the subframe is bent too (axle carrier?).

not sure how the subframe could be tweaked with out the TA being tweaked as well. The TA bushes are all perfect. Maybe previous repair with only the TA being replaced? I'm going try a subframe swap to see if that fixes it.

with some luck....

The rear end is like (from standing behind vehicle >>> /----\ right? You say yours is toed out (from behind vehicle and above looking down at the wheels and chassis *no body on frame*) it would look like this> \----/ ? Just trying to get a visial of what yours looks like. Then i would guess that it could be that the metal tabs that connect the TA to the axle carrier may be bent sighty causing the whole TA to be bent back and give the impression that you have toe out. I could be wrong, this is on a guess, im no pro, just an opinion giver . All in all, it might be that the axle carrier is bent in some way.
