Default aluminum polish?

whats a good aluminum polish

im restoring my style 5's and i stripped the clear coat and i need to polish the hell out of them anyon recommend any good aluminum polishes or polish balls?

check this thread. this guy completely re-did his style 5's to a mirror finish. looks like a lot of work though

i wish i had that thread when I did mine... lol

that must have been a PITA removing all those bolts... Mine were corroded in, so I just left the bolts right on it... 2 of mine still don't look quite as good as those, maybe ill take mine apart in a couple months and do it again...

Unless you REALLY go at it hard, which I didn't, you will have some machine marks left in the lips that run horizontal all the way around... takes ALOT of work to even start getting those out... but if your worried about the little tiny scratches left over, use a super fine grit steel wool and that should clean them right up.

As far as metal polishes, ive used 3M, Bluemagic & Mothers - and they all work pretty good for making them shine.
