Default Brake bleed issue

Hey mates. It’s been a long time since I have posted. I still enjoy stopping in once in a while.

Anyway I got a nice set of S.S. DOT Brake Lines from Bavauto for my 1995 (ABS only) a while ago and I finally found time to install them. This is where it gets interesting. I have bled many braking systems and changed my fair share of brake lines. No big deal right?

So I go to the rear right and start the bleeding process with pressure bleeder. NOTHING comes though at all. Then I bother my dear lady to help with the brake pedal. NOTHING! We tried many different combo’s and NOTHING! That’s it... This car is history. So I bled the fronts... no problem. Went to bleed the rears again... NOTHING!

Ok... Lets try starting the car... and pump them brakes... and BANG the fluid starts flowing. So it looks as though there was just too much air and the ABS may have had air in it. I really spent a lot of time on the rears. I hope this helps someone out. All the best.
