Default Got a Jim Conforti Chip?

I was thinking about buying a Jim Conforti chip for my '95ti. I know the M42 uses a chip. Does anybody have any experience using the Conforti chip?
I'm not ready to go DASC yet. Waiting for a GB.

I run one without any problems. Mine was in another members car before he swapped his engine. I think there is one for sale for an automatic 95 in the for sale section.

I have a 5 speed. Did you notice any more power after installing the chip? I'm looking for alittle more low end power.

You get a small bump in power. It really just allows the car to rev a little better, the power band is a little fatter and you get a higher redline.

They are expensive new... But it was well worth the 150$ or so I payed for it used.

Did you do the install yourself? I saw on this site that others were having trouble with getting their cars started after installing the Denan chip. Something about the changing key code.

I have a Dinan chip for sale as well for the ECU code that ends 282 for a 1995 5 speed. It is easy to install. The DME is located right behind the battery and the DME comes apart easily. I did notice a definate bump in power. I am only selling because I am getting a 94 chip so I can delete the EWS...which consequently isn't allowing my car to start at the moment.

That is mine. I actually sold it, but am buying it back. I love my JC chip, lets me go faster than 116mph.

find a bmw dealership near you that carries dinan products...drop the car off, let them do it for you, and pick it up the next day.

thats what i did....worked wonders!
