I don't like having a car that 1million other people drive, the ti is unique,i'll leave it as that. Plus i've had mine almost 5yrs,drive it year round in new england. I like when people stare at your car and are like what the hell is that. From the front it looks like any other e36,then you see it from the side and ur amazed. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 09-28-2005, 01:27 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Pomfret Ct Posts: 277 | >different< >looks< >weight< >euro< >rear drive< | | | 09-28-2005, 01:39 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: MD/VA/DC Posts: 834 | Quote: Originally Posted by needle332rur >different< >looks< >weight< >euro< >rear drive< | you got that right but i like the most is its handling i only have one seat in my car upgrade suspension fat tires today a beat a Z06 on the offramp and the othere thing poeple dont no its a bmw when they look from behind i removed the rear emblem i own 2 ti's allready and looking into buy a 3th for the race track | | | 09-28-2005, 03:48 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | All the class and luxury of a BMW and sporty! Power & Fuel Economy Decent size boot and being a hatch back Looks and drives like a bad boy However it's not all good I really don't like the following:- Ugly dull dull dull Interior. Uncomfortable seats (they may adjust in a million positions, but I just can't find one that is overly comfortable). It's a BMW - has a bad sales rep driving image. | | | 09-28-2005, 03:32 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Hinsdale, IL. Posts: 181 | I sort of backed into owning a ti following the sale of my 2000 528i Sport - financial demands = Now that I've driven it for 6 months and 8000 miles, I really like it. Gets great MPG, unique, still gets thumbs up, lots of reasonbly priced upgrade parts available, and the support of this webiste. | | | 09-28-2005, 06:49 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Cali top sticky handling unique combi of function and thrill __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 09-30-2005, 04:42 AM | #14 | Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Iowa Posts: 54 | i love TI's ever since i noticed them like 6 months ago... i kinda looked at them until this one attracted me like a magnet.
