So I am in the process of doing a dash swap...Pics will follow...since it is really impossible to find a thread with anything besides saying the the sedan dash works, I will write one up...I am nearly done. I have the dash bolted in and just finished wiring the headlights, fog lights, and just found out how to make the dimmer work. I am planning to install a 7" DVD/GPS in the upper double din area where the radio and heater normally go. I used the TI HVAC because it sits lower. I heard that you can use the ones from the sedans, but you have to switch the whole unit because of the Dual AC. Anyways, You'll need:
1) A full SEDAN dash
2)Glove Box
3)Passenger Airbag (if an OBDII dash)
4)Entire center console
5)Support bar for the Glove box
6)Support bar for over the steering wheel(not a must but makes things much easier)
The swap is really simple first thing you do is tear out the old Dash. First remove the lower trim, This is done by taking out all the screws (Phillips Head). This then exposes a on both sides bolts.
The bolt is labeled #2 & 3 in this diagram.
Second you must remove the defrost vents on top, just stick a screw driver in there and give a little pry...it'll pop out. There are three Phillips Head Screws under the vents...Remove them.
Next you want to remove the panel over the speakers...they have little hooks for the cardboard underpanel
On the driver side you have to unscrew the hood latch and take the handle off...
Then you give the plastic screw shown a quarter turn and then they pull out.
Next remove the Gauge Cluster...here is a walk through for that
