Default custom intake question

i was wondering if it is possible to see preformance increase if i did a custom intake setup. what i want to do is do a 2 1/2 or 3in piping down behind the fog light and top that off with a KnN cone filter.
i know there are set up ready to buy but i have limited cash and want to have some fun with my ti...
will i see preformance increace??

Your best bet is to fog your airbox imo. It's one of the first mods I did to my ti & I've never looked back.

There isn't must to be gained by intakes on a TI except sound. Performance wise, the AFM limits the intake, and not the intake itself.

i've heard of fogging the air box, but i have never seen any pics of it installed. so i dont want to charge blindly at it. thats why i'm going with this cold air set up. also it will cool.

fogging is more or less installing a hose from the brake duct into the airbox. you should also debaffle if you keep the stock airbox. it seems the bafflling begins to break down and can easily clog up the filter.

Hugo just hydro-locked his car with a cold air intake. Intakes are for Hondas, the factory air box is fine, fogg it if you want a little extra flow.
