Did nothing today, but need to weld my coolant level sensor bung shut to end the slow leak that the sensor isn't stopping. Sensor is unplugged anyway Last edited by BMW_Hatchback; 01-01-2014 at 07:22 AM. | | | 01-01-2014, 11:08 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Adjusted my HID's. I was blinding people FTL. Broke down my style 19's for paint. Polished my style 5's. Called CoolJess76 for our 3rd annual New Years Eve BS session. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 01-01-2014, 03:04 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Sag Harbor, NY Posts: 192 | re assembled instrument cluster and installed, put door panels back on. | | | 01-02-2014, 02:41 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: NJ Posts: 373 | Shortened my aftermarket harness and actually soldered the wires together instead of using electrical tape. Looks much better. Also found out I had the OEM alarm installed on my car. Working on buying a new remote to test it out now. Will be back at it cleaning the throttle body tomorrow. __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 01-04-2014, 07:33 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Europe Posts: 32 | Fixed my drivers window. I bought new sliders for it and was dreading doing this from everything I have read. That was about as easy as changing spark plugs lol. Now I want to do tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, and I need a new air filter. | | | 01-05-2014, 06:41 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Cleaned the injectors and replaced the vacuum tree today. Let's hope I pass smog the 3rd time around! __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 01-05-2014, 07:14 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Replaced the lower control arms and bushings on Max. The ball joints were so bad on the old ones that I could literally wiggle them around in their sockets. As a result, the toe-out is now extremely exaggerated, so much so that it is visually noticeable. Front tires are now / \ when looking at it from the front. Hope an alignment can fix this or else there's something wrong with the control arms... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
