She obviously cares about the parts safety upon delivery. What more could you ask for? __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 10-22-2013, 11:49 PM | #63 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | My mirrors were packaged insanely well. They could have been ran over and been fine. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-23-2013, 12:37 AM | #64 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Is there anything special about the headlights on that car? I don't like my plastic cased headlights at all. __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 10-23-2013, 01:00 AM | #65 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: Germany Posts: 375 | Thanks guys! I just don't want any stuff to arrive broken, that's why I try to pack so well. Plus, I know how german DHL treats the packages on their journey, so safety is needed there! The headlights are spoken for already, BUT if anyone of you could post a pic of your US-spec headlight wiring harness that would help me A TON and I could find you guys the cheapest glass headlights ever (plus plugs to have the headlights plug & play) | | | 10-23-2013, 07:30 AM | #66 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Quote: Originally Posted by angelicmisskitty Thanks guys! Cars like this one, especially when they don't have any M-stuff or a leather interior AND no current inspection title for at least the next 1.5 years (inspections are required every 2 years here), they simply won't sell for more than 300$. Most of these cars end up on the junkyard. German craigslist is flooded with 316i Compacts as this is often a beginner car here and young people tend to ruin the engines pretty much (by pretending they drive an M3.... ) So these cars either end up on the jukyard, or will be parted out. | | | 12-13-2013, 04:57 AM | #74 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | That steering wheel and airbag look clean.
