Mike and his team from Sports and Imports in Norfolk VA. they did a awsome job. There were some hicups right after the swap but they took care of it. It was mostly electrical problems. And thank you for the welcome, glad to be here. Your car looks great, very clean. Do you have any pics of your swap?

aceyx-Windsheild wiper fluid? Wow, you are really observent! ha,ha. I do need to fill that, Thank's for the reminder. And as for the driving advice, thanks. I was hoping it wasn't my driving, but it looks like it is.

That's what I get paid to do. Kinda. If your fluid is low, you might want to check your tire pressure as well.

But it sounds like it's in your launch technique. You want to modulate both gas and clutch so that your tires are at maximum traction. If you don't hear squeaks here and there, you're not transferring enough power. If you hear squealing, you're transferring too much.

In doing this, you're slipping the clutch, so know that it's gonna cause it to wear a little faster.

Maybe the reason u r having the traction problem is cause your setup is totally wrong,i think. 550 pound front and 650 rear??? The normal is your back to be aprox. 40% "softer"!

The reason i did that was because of how much it squated when i launhed, and because of how much the body rolled in and out of turns. I got the specs from Sports & Imports. He had done the same set up on a track car, so we applied them same set up. She handels great in turns, nice and smooth almost no roll!

Smile Take OFF!

I know what when I take my baby out, I do few things before a run:

Check Tire Pressure: To much will cause you to bounce during take off

Listen: Roll you window down to listen for a supercharger! Almost got tricked into a run, but heard his supercharger. So I told him once we hit the bend lets go. (There was 4 miles of twist and turns average required speed was 15miles) I was averaging 40mph - 60 mph. He was in a SuperCharged Mustang ( After the 4th turn less than a mile, I could not see him in my rearview I was able to stop at the gas station, buy a drink and some chips; then eat 1/4 of the bag before he rolled up!

Knowing what your car can and can not do helps: learn the limitations of your car and other types of cars you go up against. This way your always the hero and not the zero.

And the advise everyone stated before.

The KDWs are good tires, what width are you running? I think you said your wheels are 9" wide so I'm guessing you're running atleast a 255. If not then up your tire size.

I have a slightly modified s52, and I have great traction. I have 17x9 wheels 255/40/17 tires. Same brand and model as yours. I don't push her hard off the line, but once I launch, I don't spin at all. Water is another story. m3 front, sport rear suspension
