I'm getting the urge to buy a MINI again. I was wondering what you guys think I could sell my ti for. 1996 active (silver) 107,000 miles 5speed staggered M3 17" DSII wheels stock 15" wheels clarion proaudio cd / mp3 player Z3 coupe shocks and springs (roughly equivalent to sport package suspension) I have the Mtech spoiler primered but not painted or installed. As for the bad, there are a couple things. I've just posted a thread about a possible steering issue that I can't really convince myself I even have, the odometer backlight and the climate control backlights are burned out, the Check engine light is on due to an aftermarket CAT I had installed late last year, and there is a small dent in the driver's rear quarter panel where my wife backed into the car. DustenT and AlaskaBlue have seen the car. I'm having trouble uploading more pictures (says I'm over my disk space, but I deleted several) but if I get that worked out I could post some. I'm more just curious as to what it is worth right now, more than serious about selling it. | | | 01-11-2007, 05:38 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Québec Posts: 43 | I'm looking for a Mtech front spoiler (bumper). I'm thinking $4,000-$5,000 but you need to get the cat fixed. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-11-2007, 08:16 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Yeah, depending on the buyer a CEL could be a definite show stopper. With the CEL $4k may be a stretch. | | | 01-11-2007, 09:44 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Bath NY Posts: 120 | ya 4k | | | 01-11-2007, 11:02 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Minnesota Posts: 227 | Would you sell the rear deck spoiler...if so how much??? __________________ 1998 M-tech 325ti; Hellrot: M50 Swap, Cold-Air Intake, Custom Magna-Flow Exhaust, Depo Housings w/55 Watt HID, Yellow Fogs,Tinted Windows (35%), M3 Front Spoiler Lip, Black Grills, X-Brace, 17" Drag DR-19 wrapped with Hankook VR-12s, Bilstein HD with M-Tec Springs | | | 01-11-2007, 11:03 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | Well, considering a cat is about $1000, and $5k is probably top end for the car if it is fixed, then $4k does sound right, I guess. I'm waffling between a 2007 turbo and the fact that I can get a new 2006 for $500 off msrp right now. (and the fact that this is a purely emotional thing, and I'm trying to be more responsible with money....) Here is a picture of the car with the stock wheels. I can't seem to add the picture with the groovy M3 wheels to the gallery. This is before my wife put the small dent in the rear wheel arch. | | | 01-11-2007, 11:05 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | I've had several requests for the rear deck spoiler sold separately. As of right now, I'm going to hold on to it. If I do decide to sell it, I have gotten one PM that I read before any of the other requests, so it would go to that person. It is in primer, sanded, and came off of Brook Harmon's black ti after he hit the foam walls and totalled his ti at Watkins Glen. he was a member here. It looks like it is in fine shape, but until it is painted, it will be difficult to see any blemishes. | | | 01-13-2007, 01:56 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | Just an FYI, I was offered 2500 on trade in today for a 2006 MCS. Pretty tempting, based on the work I need to do to the car. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
