Default Just bought a ti, wondering about preventative maintenance

Hey there, just purchased my first BMW in the form of a very clean '96 318ti and I'm loving it so far!
I've not done much before in terms of car maintenance but I am very keen and willing to learn.
I'm wondering where would be a good place to start some preventative maintenance, so far I'm thinking Air filter, Fuel filter, oil change + filter.
Are these a good place to start? and suggestions for other things would be fantastic

You have the right way of thinking. If you want to be really preventative - replace the entire cooling system (if that hasn't been done already). Then you can theoretically drive worry-free, knowing that some of the older plastic components and O-rings won't fail. I just had mine changed and it's the best feeling ever.

Oh yea, welcome to the fold!
