Passenger Airbag Dash Cover Removal - How?

Sorry if I have overlooked a previous post for this but I did search...

Can someone point me to the correct way to remove the passenger side airbag dash cover? It appears to simply pull up (4 clips). But before I break something, I'd rather hear from those that might know better.

While I'm asking, this cover seems warped from the heat and I'm wondering what others have done to fix this - short of replacing the cover?

I replaced mine a long while ago, but I just remember basically breaking off the 4 plastic clips on the underside of the cover (they insert into a sort of one-way slot). Just take out the glove box lining and I believe you can access them under there. Then just bought new clips from the dealer and installed it with those. They weren't much and are made to break. I just replaced the cover as well. I dunno what you can do to fix the warping if the vinyl is coming off.
