CastingFool Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2017 Location: Georgia, USA Posts: 10 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	Roof Rack Instalation Kit I would love an OEM roof rack for my 1997 318ti, but understand that they're no longer available. However, I am dying to know how the racks attach to those thin rails in the roof. I've searched all over, and cannot find a picture of the kit that's needed to install the racks. If I could find a picture or two, I'm pretty sure that I could fabricate something that would work and allow me to use an affordable roof rack on the car. I just don't want one of those racks that fasten to the door frames. Any ideas?
