Yes I bought Pops-A-Dent. Only because a week ago i rear ended someone who parked right behind the driveway. So now they have a dent in their SUV and I have a broken tail light. Well anyways instead of just right out giving them money for a body shop, I have purchased Pops-A-Dent for 20 bucks at Autozone. I read up on this product and read reviews and it seems to work on dents that aren't all wrinkled and messed up. But on smaller dents it seems to work great. So I am trying to save myself some money here. So after I try to pull out their dent, I will be pulling out a few small ones myself on the Ti. I will be posting pictures and a review of the product for anyone interested in pulling a few dents out themselves. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 07-13-2008, 07:54 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Central PA Posts: 96 | let me know....have a 3 inch dent in my c pillar. | | | 07-13-2008, 09:40 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | It works! I started off with pulling out a dent on the side of my passenger door. I had two and both of them came out pretty well. I had to repeat the process for one dent and really need to repeat the process for the other one. But only after two tries, I have gotten one dent down to a small fingernail ding. When I go for the third try, I think it will come all the way out. Here are some pics of the before and after and also the procedure. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 07-13-2008, 09:43 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | Before and after shots of the second dent. Which is by far the hardest one to pull out because of the location and I only gave it one try when I should repeat the process until the dent is level again. But here are the pics of just one try. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 07-13-2008, 09:48 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | Now pics of the process. First you have a glue gun, different sized pads for smaller to larger dents, and the bridge arm. You must apply the glue to the pad and then press into the center of the dent and allow to dry for 3-5 mins. But I waited 5-6 mins. You then attach the bridge and screw down until the dent pops out and the pad comes off the metal. There may be some left over glue on your car but I just used rubbing alcohol to take it off. I will post pics later when I repeat the process to get the dents all the way out. But so far I have decreased them in size which is pretty good for a 20 dollar kit. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
