Who's planning on coming? | | | 11-13-2006, 02:56 AM | #62 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | If I DO get there, it will definitely be later than 3, probably around 4:45 or 5, depending on traffic. If anyone is interested in being there then, please let me know and give me your cell phone numbers that way I can call you guys before I leave to make sure you're still there. As far as I know, 1996328ti will be the coordinator of this meet. I really wish I could be there for the whole thing, but I just can't make it till later. | | | 11-13-2006, 04:03 AM | #63 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Philly, PA Posts: 189 | I will still like to make it, my Ti is down for the moment and I sure hope I can have it fix before then. | | | 11-13-2006, 06:46 AM | #64 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Northern New Jersey Posts: 395 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti No. I want to meet a few people there so we can drive to Joisey together. | Joisey... who says that???? Posts: 3,156 | I'm keeping an eye on the weather. If it even THREATENS to snow, I'm out. You have a better chance of seeing God than pulling that drive off... The car spins like a merry-go-round in 1/2 inch of snow. That, and I've never had the car in salt since I bought it. I'm not starting now... but, if it's clear, I'll be there. | | | 11-14-2006, 01:40 AM | #71 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | They're calling for the 50s. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-14-2006, 01:45 AM | #72 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Yes, but you see I grew up in New England, and we have a saying regarding the weather. "If you don't like it, just wait a half-hour." It's ALMOST as bad as Scotland... We'll see how it goes... If the folowing week is supposed to be 'clean' as well, then I'm in for sure. If the next week is suspect, I'll have to cut somewhat early and change cars in CT, then drive nack to Long Island. I need an excuse to wash the car anyway. I've been traveling so much lately I have been neglecting her. Remember I broke the window regulator on Sept. 22? well, it's still busted... | | | 11-14-2006, 03:03 AM | #73 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I didn't realize it's so bad in the snow. How do you think my 98 active will perform with ASC+T and 15" 185's all around? I hope it's not too bad. | | | 11-14-2006, 03:04 AM | #74 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! I usually look forward to the lively rear end.
