Nope there was no damage at all. The other side is perfect, i have to bring it back on wednesday to fix the gap, i noticed it yesterday | | | 06-12-2006, 07:49 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Northern Michigan Posts: 867 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwman1983 Are you talking about the gap where the bumper is? I'm still tinkering with my hood and have it pretty damn close. as for bumpers...there is a little side to side adjustability when installing the reinforment. but once the plastic push rivets (hold it inside the bumper) are pushed in- that's it. All I could do is try to center it (the reinf.) as best I could, and hope for the best. All that said- your side to side looks good (line up the dip with the grills). that side gap-?? maybe he missed the slide? nah can't be that...any movement on it? Does the inner wheel liner line up? Should be fixable. __________________ [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] | | | 06-12-2006, 07:53 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | The inner wheel linner almost lines up you cant even tell because the car is low. I know he said he did a little customizing becasue of that, but on wednesday he will adjust the bumper for me | | | 06-12-2006, 09:34 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler Dude i got seatblet pads. Once you use the pad for a few days you don't even know it's there and it's just way more comfortable for the driver. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-12-2006, 09:50 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | I second that opinion...very comfortable | | | 06-12-2006, 11:16 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | Very nice car. I love the color! He did an awesome job | $1700.00 for a complete paint job?!?! Thats an awesome price. Makes me ponder going to MASS for a paint job. Looks like they did a great job. Did they take everything apart or did they just tape over everything? Your car looks great, excellent choice in color! __________________ | | | 06-13-2006, 12:44 AM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | Thank You...They took everything apart to paint. | | | 06-13-2006, 01:05 AM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler So whats wrong with the pads then? Maybe I'm the ideal height for BMW ergonomics, but the belt fits perfectly over my collarbone. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 06-13-2006, 01:13 AM | #27 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | Someone asked me to post more pics so I posted a few more pics in my gallery for everyone to see | | | 06-13-2006, 03:13 AM | #28 | Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Williamsburg, VA Posts: 91 | If your car looks as nice in person as it does in the pics, you got a great deal on the paint job. Your car looks great, excellent choice in color! | you should come to NC then. I got my e32 painted for $1000. They were going to charge me $800 but I wanted to change the color. I had to pay cash and didn't get a warranty or receipt. The job wasn't perfect, but it was very close. I'm going to go to them again when I need another car painted. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
