Nonetheless it looks incredible, thanks for sharing and welcome back. | | | 08-28-2010, 03:42 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | Thanks all! Yea after putting the car back together I drove around without the eyelids and started liking it. But I decided to put them back on since nobody else in the local club had them (and bc my wife told me too). Y'all don't know how much I missed driving this car. My wife and I are also fixing up an R53 Mini Cooper S so I was driving that around in the mean time. But something about the Ti just felt... Better. __________________ | | | 08-28-2010, 03:45 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak I love it, almost painted my mirrors like yours too but I don't think it would look as good with my color | You ever think of wrapping your mirrors in CF to match your hood? Maybe your roof too? I was thinking about that when I was looking at pics of your car the other day. __________________ | | | 08-28-2010, 04:12 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by JedzE36/5 You ever think of wrapping your mirrors in CF to match your hood? I actually have 10mm spacers in the rear bc the rear fenders were pulled so far out. The front wheels have no spacers on them. Once I burn through the current rubber I'm going to probably buy some 245s in the rear so they stretch and I can possibly put 15 or 20mm spacers in the rear like my neighbor Phamster (he is on the forums too). He pulled his fenders too and is running 255s on 9" or 9.5" rims with 25mm spacers in the rear. Looks awesome! __________________ | | | 08-28-2010, 05:02 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: New Orleans Posts: 970 | oh yeah, i love phamsters car, its pretty crazy that even with 10mm spacers it looks sunk like that haha id do 15mm, should be enough to make it look right __________________ ^being rebuilt^ until then: daily car: 96' Blue DASC'd ti with koni coilovers slowly progressing... weekend car: 85 1/2' 944 Porsche no a/c, p/s, gutted cat, loud as hell exhaust, loud as hell sound system | | | 08-29-2010, 04:09 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | First welcome back to the forum!
