Model number badge on left or right? Greetings! Has the model number badge (e.g., 318ti, M3, etc.) always been on the right-hand side of the car, looking at it from the rear? Or was it on the left for some years/models? On most of the BMW's I've ever seen, the model number badge is on the right hand side. But, there's an e36 3-series (I think it's a 323i) near my place that has the model number badge on the left-hand side. So, I'm wondering if this was something the owner did, or if the badge was on the left for some "official" reason. Thanks, JMJ __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
