Better late than never. I totalled my "330ti" last summer, but its still parked in my driveway awaiting the right 318ti for the conversion, version 2.0..... I have a stock 98' 318ti right now, but it's not the "right one". My 1997 330ti was built with the following parts: - 95' S50, ported & polished, with BEE Cams - custom built 3.23 LSD from Mcoupe by Diffsonline of Stoneham, Ma - E30 6cyl half shafts - complete M3 front suspension from my 95' M3 donor car - M3 steering rack - M3 front brakes - M3 ZF 5 speed transmission - M3 6-bolt drive shaft - custom modified Trifo Exhaust for E36 M3 - custom built 4" intake system w/ cold air box - M3 Vaders - M3 cluster - M3 console My car did manage a dyno run before I spun it in the rain. 239 rwhp & 228 wrtorque Enough to beat an E46 M3 (from a dead stop to 115mph, then he started to pull on me), a Boxter S, several STI's and Evo's (both on the highway, not from a standing start.) | | | 10-28-2006, 08:54 PM | #50 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 2 | This is my first post, so hello. It took two years or so to get it right, but I am finally done. I have a 97 318ti with a 98 M3 3.2 motor swap. Complete M3 suspension up front and M coupe trailing arms in the rear with an Mcoupe LSD. In addition, this took forever to get right, I installed a supercharger with an aftercooler and heat exchanger. I am runnig 8.3lbs of boost. We did the dyno runs last week and got 336 to the rear wheels. We figured we are close to 400 hp at the crank. Been driving the car hard like this for two weeks, still runs great, no overheating, minimum blow by, no pinging. | | | 10-29-2006, 11:18 PM | #51 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: N.
