Without actually being there and hearing it in person, the only advice I can give is to jack it up, spin the wheels and see if you could duplicate the sound. From there, you might be able to isolate and narrow down exactly where the sound is coming from. Of course, it may not work if it's somehow related to the suspension being compressed or the halfshafts being stressed. Is it a metallic rubbing sound? You guys might check your brake dust shields or even the heat shield above the driveshaft. Slowti, did you shim your ABS sensors? Did you spin the wheel and check for clearance before taking the car on the road? You didn't use hose clamps on your CV boots did you? You need to use special crimp clamps. |
