Default Axle noise

Hey guys. I just put in my e30 Alford with e30 axles and my passenger side axle is quiet as a mouse. MY right one Make a small clicking noise at lower speeds. What could this be? Left over pieces of the abs sensors? Maybe some plastic pieces in there? Any help would be great!

Not to highjack your thread, but I put a 4.10 LSD E30 diff with E30 axles in one of my tis and I have a rubbing sound at low speeds, especially when backing up. Parking lots bring it out a lot. A related issue? It's been that way for months. My mechanic doesn't know what it is (I'm not even certain he's heard it). He tried replacing the bearings to no avail. He can't find a place where it's rubbing. I wonder if the larger differential case is rubbing and he just hasn't discovered that.

Without actually being there and hearing it in person, the only advice I can give is to jack it up, spin the wheels and see if you could duplicate the sound. From there, you might be able to isolate and narrow down exactly where the sound is coming from. Of course, it may not work if it's somehow related to the suspension being compressed or the halfshafts being stressed. Is it a metallic rubbing sound? You guys might check your brake dust shields or even the heat shield above the driveshaft. Slowti, did you shim your ABS sensors? Did you spin the wheel and check for clearance before taking the car on the road? You didn't use hose clamps on your CV boots did you? You need to use special crimp clamps.

And make sure you don't have a rock or nail caught in your tire.
