I will install tomorrow and put some miles on this junker! Funny that the non-ti brakes cost about half. So the upgrade comes out to a whopping 50 bucks or so more than I was plannning to spend on the one caliper/rotor! __________________ No more ti. | | | 04-01-2010, 08:37 PM | #167 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | Quote: Originally Posted by Recon427 Hi Greg, If you are going to rebuild the cooling system and you need an extra hand let me know. If you can afford it, i would replace the entire cooling system: Radiator, thermostat, water pump, hoses and coolant. If you are mechanically savvy, its not a huge job, but a shop will hit you hard in the wallet. If you had hose issues, you would be leaking coolant all over the place. | cool thanks brad! thanks tony! I didn't see any coolant just thought that it was those hoses which is cool. haven't checked the radiator as its at my dad's house and i'm staying at my mom's house right now. __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-02-2010, 01:11 AM | #168 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | The next couple of weeks I'm focusing on car maintenance. I doubt there will be anything exciting done though. Got the A/C system looked at today. There's a hole in one of the lines which will need to be replaced, plus I'm going to have the dryer (or whatever it's called, don't remember ATM) replaced too. Hundreds of dollars I hadn't planned to spend, but luckily for my car I'm in the mood to be nice to it. :-) Also dropped something off to be refinished. Finally. :-D __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! In the process I took out the fan and airbox to give myself room for the side of the engine cleaning. Found out that at the dealer they took out the filter and shoved it back in there again. Brand new Purolator filter ruined because the retarded mechanic didn't have the patience to put it in correctly. Stupid.....and to think I drove 500 miles with a filter that wasn't seated properly. | | | 04-02-2010, 11:28 PM | #180 | Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: severna park Posts: 63 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mr. Crow Hey whats that thing in the middle?
