Planning on painting side skirts and rear valence/done touch ups

I have an alpine white '95 ti and I am looking to paint the side skirts and rear valence from the dark grey to white within the next few weeks so I need to order paint asap. I have a small paint sprayer I can use, but I have never used one before. I am wondering if anyone knows how much paint I should buy. I saw another thread where these parts were painted and they used 2 spray cans of paint, but I am not sure if I should go with a spray can. I have looked on paintscratch.com and they want ~$100 for a pint and a little more for a quart + more for primer and clear coat. Could I just buy primer and a clear coat from a hardware store and spray it on for cheaper? The only issue here is that I need to buy the matching paint color for my car otherwise I would just get all the supplies from a hardware store and just do black.

personally i like the 2 tone i say stick w black but its all up to you bud i used a rattle can of textured paint by rust o leum or however you spell it
