i wanted to put neon lights on the back side and the tire thingy was on the way too. And there wasnt really a place to put in the front of my car. So i just had them in the sides.

Wouldnt u lose horsepower if you decide to do dual?

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I don't think dual exhausts would look good. You'd have to cut up the bumper.
It will not provide any gain. IMHO, only M cars with individual throttle bodies should have dual exhausts.

I have a custom dual exhaust, dont have a spare tire, and yes I did
have to cut the rear bumper, IMO it looks good and sounds mean.
Bimmer7 has seen my car in person, maybe you can throw in a good word Dave?
Im gonna try and get pics taken of my car this weekend and get them
posted.

Eisenmann or something like that makes a dual exhaust for the ti.

Dual exhaust is cool if the engine can handle it. I was kind of thinking about changing to side exhaust but don't think I will. I don't think I could hack up the side skirt.

I have always wanted to do the side exhaust thing, but if you hack up the skirts and rocker panel your exhaust will be running through the passenger compartment. You can always have a low profile exhaust and just run it under the car.

If I am wrong someone please correct me.

There is a picture of a hamann ti with dual exhaust on bavauto.com under the aero section. Its probably the best looking ti rear end I have ever seen.

I believe Dakar has the Eisenmann duel exhaust on his ti, and has bored out throttle boddies to match.
