e-36 1998 318Ti with rare California roof, 5 spd, needs motor work. Oil in antifreeze found out after lots of work on other serviceable parts.
Leather interior. Seat are not ripped. Sheep skins were added for warmth. Car will need hood recolor repaint and other work. Was bought with a blown radiator and a bend aftermarket hood, Replaced with oem hood. Did lots of work on it to get it ready for a new life. Had another 318ti so we have a whole other car in parts. (all available)
A number of new parts were added to the project,,, but ran into the lack of desire to do head job. Busy young college grad. 5 years it has sat now. Started and ran last 5 years until this time to sell it.
Dad says it must be sold to someone with the vision and appreciation of the model.
These 318ti's are great driving machines. Stunning fun in the snow.
With the rare California canvas fold back roof, they are a car show dream driver. Sheep skin seat covers over leather no rips seats.
Great car for 6cyl upgrade. But with a 4cyl it came with a better HP to weight ratio than some of the m cars. see

Lots of parts available from another 98 donor car... We also have the aftermarket hood. Two doors, and hatch. Left Right and Rear. Front and back bumpers. (Not M-Sport like on the car.) Seats in same color vinyl. Door cards in same color vinyl. an engine block, head, oil pan, crank. Other parts... Set of free used racing slicks from a friend 318ti track car.
I can't currently really get under it for photos. Sitting on grass now for end of driveway sale. Expect typical ny rust. Rockers not looking bad. But these and jack post box do need work sometimes. They were best i saw when looking 5 years ago to find this Cali. I have seen these cars get new outer or even inner rockers replacements.
We have bought a new California roof motor. I think it was about $700 from Germany. It is still in the box. Sad... Car over heated on son's first 5 miles after lots of work to update the brakes etc. It has sat since. I did drain the oil and replaced it with fresh oil and and it ran every time I tried to start it to move it. Recently forced to sell it. So of course it wont start. I did drain the gas and refreshed that. But still wont start. Cali roof has a couple bits of tree sap on it. Should dissolve with a rag of rubbing alcohol. Tar/from foam door liner on one rear seat panel. Driver door card off. Tires poor but holding air on OEM E-36 1998 Ti BMW Wheels.
