Here are the pictures ! http://www.typer.us/Chopping/ Progress is going well! Props to Pnosker for helping me remove my hatch and passenger door today to make this possible. I hope I can have it all in little pieces by the end of Sunday. Am I too late? Thanks! I know you wanted to keep it in one piece, but if you stripped it, I could use the LINKAGE that runs from the power lock solinoid to the lock itself. | | | 10-03-2006, 08:42 PM | #139 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | Oh no! I took his linkage + actuator and threw it away when I was done with the actuator. I think I had one extra, not sure if its the right or the left one. Let me know if this is the piece. I don't have the silver plastic piece that holds the black grill. By grill panel, do you mean the nose panel ? I still have that piece. Its #21 in the picture http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...43&hg=41&fg=10 | | | 10-03-2006, 10:51 PM | #141 | Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 82 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mad-Machine Arren, did you ever decide what you were doing about the passenger door? I'm winding down my project and want to clear away the big parts. I'm having trouble finding a salvage yard buyer for my scrap metal, so I might end up putting it at the curb with the recycles. Some junk hunters may end up scavanging it before the municipal workers get to it though. I'm going to try and find a buyer on e-bay,. .I have a plan to find a buyer without getting screwed on the deal. | | | 10-03-2006, 11:04 PM | #142 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | I still say you should post the carcass on ebay as a potential "Race car" conversion. Show them the damage, and let them decide. As the chassis is already stripped, you are saving them a lot of work. | | | 10-03-2006, 11:08 PM | #143 | Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 82 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mad-Machine I still say you should post the carcass on ebay as a potential "Race car" conversion. I want to clear the parts out, so most parts are priced to sell. I still have miscellaneous parts laying around, so if you don't see anything listed, just ask.
