Default Widest tires you can fit on a 318ti?

What are the widest tires you can put on a 318ti? I have the 225's on there now, but I want to go to a 235, or maybe even a 245 if possible??????

I have 235x40x17

I think the width might depend on if you car is lowered.
When my car was lowered I doubt if 245s would fit without having the fenders rolled.

Lip rolling means to flare out the fender a bit.

i had 225s front and rear on my dropped 97

Rubbed like hell. but gripped like a Biatch.

The Clubsport may get 205 Ft and 225 Rears

or just good 205s front and rear.
