someone said somethin about an i6, thats an inline-6 correct? whts the difference between a v6 and i6? try and be blunt with me, im still learnin the basics on cars, just turned 16 and finally baught my own bmw. and does anyone know the price of a turbo on a 96 318ti 4-banger and how much an i6 would cost to put in?
inline six is when the pistons fire in a row, similiar to:
o-o-o-o-o-o to the headers
v-six is when pistons fire in two diagnols similiar to:
o-o-o
o-o-o but of course like a v, to the headers

a DASC (don't put a turbo in your TI) is 3350, shipped.

an i6, dependant upon the kind, can run up to 7k, but are usually around 4, especially if you are looking more towards a plug-and-play swap
