So i ran into a problem. The grills that i had on my stock (by stock i mean factory stock nosepanel) nose panel are larger than the nosepanel i have now (which is also oem). Is there 2 different nose panels? The panel fit well and it bolted up into place to everything. But the grills i have are larger than the new panel to fit into. So what year or what is this nose panel from? If it helps, its a 4 door nose panel, and its oem green.

1995-1996 are different than 1997-1999.

I just sold my original kidney grills on Ebay. I think I said they would fit any E36. That might have been a mistake to say, and I'm not sure what car the winner has. ive actually noticed that not all e36 grills were the same. Some looked like they stick out more than others but i didnt really pay to much attention to it. And now ive realized that the older ones were larger than the newer ones.
