Z3 Steering Rack Upgrade

So my steering rack is pretty much done for at 120k miles. I researched my options and I'm looking to upgrade to the Z3 rack due to the better lock to lock steering ratio.

After much searching, I dug up this thread:

That thread seemed to have died. Do I need all these parts to upgrade to the Z3 rack? What are crush rings and cadmium banjo rings?

I'm trying to find the cheapest remanufactured Z3 steering rack. So far the cheapest I've found is at http://www.carsteering.com/addtocart...80-00224.html#. I contacted them and they said that this is neither a Maval or a ZF remanufactured rack -- they remanfacture their own racks. He said they would only give me $50 for my old steering rack

I want to replace the motor mounts while I'm down there too. Any recommendations on what kind and where to purchase them?
