You still have those mille miglia's or did you sell them with the car?

From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
They were "Keepin it Real" when they introduced the 318ti ClubSport in '95 and the 318ti Sports from '96 to '99.
After that... well nothing else really matters.

I own 4 BMW's including a ti and a Z3 Coupe. I have driven dozens over the years... by a mile my favorite car is my E46 wagon. If I had to sell everything and drive one thing forever it would be my E46 manual sport wagon.

Good choice, you will not be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and buy 4 window regluators and have them ready to go... the down side of an E46.

Wonderful, I thought Id left that problem with my ti. Oh well, I think I can deal with that for this car though. Well Ive been spending some time with my new baby and today when I popped the hood to see the piece of machinery that will bring me the infinite and elite knowledge that a 6 cyl BMW owners have () I got another nice surprise, the first owner installed a K&N CAI. The thing looks like its brand new too, not a speck of dust on it.

They are WAY easy on the E46. I can do one in less than an hour.

I have the K&N CIA too... Great intake nice sound at WOT. Need to install some reflective heat shielding on the cold air boc however.

Hahaha, its the stuff nightmares are made of! Here in Iowa we get dumped on and we can't even do anything fun like ski or snowboard. Not many mountains out here in farm country.
