BMW has some not so nice OEM wheels, but the majority are pretty darn cool looking. I was attempting to do some spacer measurements on the e90 with the wheels I had mounted on the 'ti. Meanwhile, I thought.. Hmmm, maybe I'll see what the style 162s will look like on the 'ti. They are 18x8 with 225/40/18 up front, and 18x8.5 with 255/35/18 in the back. I REALLY like it! what do you guys think? __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 06-11-2007, 01:32 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: SoCal Posts: 549 | They're ok. The spokes are alittle too curvy. They work for the front of the car, but the hatch's rear "straight-down" profile doesn't match with the rear wheels. __________________ 318Ti Sport (Gone, but thanks for your years of service) | M3 E30 | 190E-16V | M Coupe E36/8 | | | 06-11-2007, 01:33 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | Here's the wheels on the e90, plus my "normal" track wheels on the e36. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 06-11-2007, 02:31 AM | #4 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I bet it's nice being rich | | | 06-11-2007, 02:45 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Lake Oswego, OR Posts: 136 | E90 look so not sporty (not the rims). I mean ive seen pics of e90 sedans on tracks, they look so out of place and ugly. The rims would look better if they were smaller. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by halobeamin it's the way to go.. Not the car just the rims. Too big and too bling for a Ti. | | | 06-11-2007, 03:13 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | Yikes, I guess I'll keep them on the e90 then. They do look a bit big, but they are 18's, and I think I've seen a few of those on cars here. Maybe hold off on e90 pics too. I like the e90, and it's a great daily driver. Then again, I like iDrive. Kinda shows my taste. jess, hope you're joking about that. I'm pretty far from that status. Be nice to be there, but I'm not. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 06-11-2007, 10:52 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 208 | I think they would look really good if they were 17's. 18's are just too big. | | | 06-11-2007, 11:26 PM | #9 | doesn't care about you. I really like the way the DS-2s look and it's cool to have 2 cars that you can change the look on so easily. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-12-2007, 03:07 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Diego Posts: 73 | | | | 06-12-2007, 04:47 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | I think the E90 is just too much silver on the E36, the Track wheels look nice though, it gives it a nice contrast __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . As wasa said, 17s would be better I think. Those 162's are the best looking E90 wheels (on an E90) though. The plain 325/328 wheels make the car look so boring. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
