Hi everyone, most of us have the habit of forgetting something particular all the time. I always end up forgetting my car at the parking lot. I am somewhat not comfortable in saying this, but yes, there have been many instances like this with me and I can’t help myself out. I do remember to carry my iPhone with me but am helpless on the issue of my car. There might be someone like me who can answer my problems as to what do they do or would hope some good suggestions from you people so that I can be comfortable when finding my car in the lot. Thanks in advance! | | | 11-17-2008, 02:35 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Write down the section you park in on a little piece of paper? If there are no section letters/number, write what store you parked in front of, any "landmarks" near your car, etc. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 11-17-2008, 03:23 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Wisconsin Posts: 1,895 | Take a picture of the location with your iphone. __________________ ... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ | | | 11-17-2008, 04:41 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | panic button? | | | 11-17-2008, 04:43 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | My dad used to put a styrofoam ball on top of the antenna on our 1976 Ford Country Squire wagon. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 11-17-2008, 04:53 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali My dad used to put a styrofoam ball on top of the antenna on our 1976 Ford Country Squire wagon. | lol, my parents do that with rental cars | | | 11-20-2008, 04:14 AM | #7 | Banned Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: LOS ANGELES Posts: 229 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali My dad used to put a styrofoam ball on top of the antenna on our 1976 Ford Country Squire wagon. | lol good idea lol ill put a flag perhaps... thanks you made me laugh | | | 11-20-2008, 04:21 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | Get an alarm or keyless entry that makes a beep. If I can't find mine I just hit the unlock button and listen for the sound. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 11-20-2008, 03:56 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | If I need to remember, I repeat it to myself as I'm walking out of the garage. Your memory will be as good as want it to be; it's mind over mind after all. If there are distractions (date, colleague, etc) then just put it in your calendar or send yourself a text with the location. I find that the worst part is remembering which staircase you use, especially if you use that particular garage often. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
