Default What CAT?

My Catalytic converter is going.....what's the most cost effective, legal, replacement?

BTW, the lady at SFX said that they still have a "LOT" of Bosal Exhausts left. Still $165.

I'm OBDII. I could still run the straight pipe if I can live with a CEL. It isn't legal, though, and is also illegal for autocrossing purposes.

I'd prefer to find a way to economically (cheaper than the $350 I've found on line for a complete bolt-in replacement) replace the CAT.

You could use a 200 cpsi cat without CEL on for sure. And maybe even 100 cpsi. Does the M44 ti have one or two lamda sensors?
