My Catalytic converter is going.....what's the most cost effective, legal, replacement? BTW, the lady at SFX said that they still have a "LOT" of Bosal Exhausts left. I could still run the straight pipe if I can live with a CEL. It isn't legal, though, and is also illegal for autocrossing purposes. I'd prefer to find a way to economically (cheaper than the $350 I've found on line for a complete bolt-in replacement) replace the CAT. | | | 06-28-2006, 03:20 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Greece Athens Posts: 302 | You could use a 200 cpsi cat without CEL on for sure. And maybe even 100 cpsi. Does the M44 ti have one or two lamda sensors? __________________ Alpina front lip spoiler,ACS roof spoiler,OEM clear rear-side lights,In-Pro blackchrome front indicators,Lummar tinted glasses,318ti.org decalls,Eibach Sportline 45mm/30mm springs,Bilstein Sprint shocks,16mm rear sway bar, front eccentric wishbone bushes,E46 conv.
