One of the best set up for the E36/5. | | | 05-12-2008, 06:13 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | noah. either one of us guys can help you out installing your new depos and HIDs in. it may be confusing or frustrating at first try but once you know what ya gotta do its easier. you'll be happy with what you bought over those plastic headlights for sure. Commander > the depo setup is the way to go if you're looking for a brighter effect. the clear glass lens lets light project a lot clearer than the U.S. plastic version. they fade into a yellow cloud look over the years. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Short story shorter, I rear ended a Saab on Friday. As life never fails to make things interesting, the car went into my front panel, grill, lights, etc. Radiator pushed in. Uf....still waiting for final estimate and insurance stuff. Obviously, keeping my car! So inevitably, the shop will have to replace the headlights. Here's a chance to get something decent in my car. Has anyone had a shop put in some Euro-code Ellipsoids? I may get blasted for this, but frankly I think angel eyes looks ridiculous on the E36. And I'm not convinced of HID, either. I used to run a 2002 with French yellow headlights and strongly believe in having a bit of yellow in the spectrum. I think the best bet would be ZKWs with Halogen and maybe even those City Lights. Any suggested sources? Are they worth the $400+ price? thanks for the tips. Depo is made in Asia replicating some of the better headlights like Hella and ZKW. The price is much more affordable and huge improvement over US spec plastic headlight. Make sure you spend a few bucks more for the HID. You will not regret it. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
