Good luck. I don't have my Bentley with me, otherwise I'd check for you. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 11-16-2005, 06:40 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | are thes white thingys broken on the new dash or are they suppossed to be like that?? __________________ | | | 11-16-2005, 07:00 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | the bentley is kinda vague when it comes to our ti's. page 721-6 shows the other e36's not the ti. __________________ | | | 11-16-2005, 07:49 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | ok, how bout the steering wheel?? how do i take that off?? __________________ | | | 11-17-2005, 11:14 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Southern California Posts: 225 | Quote: Originally Posted by Platanos are thes white thingys broken on the new dash or are they suppossed to be like that?? | Yes they are broken. I think you have to reach the pins from under the dash then push them upward. I swap my dash like 3 months ago. feel free to ask if you have questions. __________________ Love my ti | | | 11-17-2005, 11:21 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Southern California Posts: 225 | to take off the steering wheel you need to get a torx wrech to remove the airbag. disconnect the battery before removing the airbag so that the srs light doesn't come up. There are 2 holes behind the steering wheel, the torx screws that hold the airbag are in there. Unscrew them. Then disconnect the airbag connector under the wheel, carefully remove the airbag and place it somewhere safe. Take a 16mm wrech to remove the nut in the midle of the wheel. It should take some effort to remove that nut. once the nut is removed, the wheel should come right off. __________________ Love my ti | | | 11-17-2005, 03:31 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | thanks 96. i was able to swap everything out and now it just looks awesome. thanks for the help!! __________________ | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
