Default need help quick!!

anyone know how to remove the passenger side airbag cover??

in the process of swapping dashes so any help would be great, thanks!! any hints would be great. also for those of you who have an armrest, where do i get one and how much? i bought an armrest from a m3 and bought the console it attaches to thinking it would fit but guess what...it doesn't

I think if you remove the glove box, you can get under the air bag. Good luck. I don't have my Bentley with me, otherwise I'd check for you.

are thes white thingys broken on the new dash or are they suppossed to be like that??

the bentley is kinda vague when it comes to our ti's. page 721-6 shows the other e36's not the ti.

Yes they are broken. I think you have to reach the pins from under the dash then push them upward. I swap my dash like 3 months ago. feel free to ask if you have questions.

to take off the steering wheel you need to get a torx wrech to remove the airbag. disconnect the battery before removing the airbag so that the srs light doesn't come up. There are 2 holes behind the steering wheel, the torx screws that hold the airbag are in there. Unscrew them. Then disconnect the airbag connector under the wheel, carefully remove the airbag and place it somewhere safe. Take a 16mm wrech to remove the nut in the midle of the wheel. It should take some effort to remove that nut. once the nut is removed, the wheel should come right off.

thanks 96. i was able to swap everything out and now it just looks awesome. thanks for the help!!
